What is IS 13630 Ceramic testing equipment?
IS 13630 refers to the test which determines the water absorption and bulk density properties of ceramic tiles. Preparing the sample

The test sample consist of 10 whole ceramic tiles if the surface area is lesser than 0.04 meters square; if the diameter if more, 5 tiles are enough as sample. Check that each sample weighs at least 50 grams and does not exceed 100 grams. If the ceramic tiles are more than 200 mm in length, cut the pieces and include these separately in the measurement.
Ensure constant mass
